I’m a wife, mom of four, writer, ministry leader, and big believer that God didn’t create us to spend our lives simply surviving them.
I’m the founder of The Rooted Woman, a ministry created to equip women to know Christ, grow through Scripture, and build Christ-centered community right where God has planted them. Through studies, resources, local church chapters, mentorship, and The Rooted Woman Podcast, my hope is to make biblical discipleship feel accessible in the middle of real, everyday life.

For a long time, I knew how to keep going. I could lead, work, raise babies, build things, serve people, and carry a whole lot at once. From the outside, I was functioning. But I began to realize there’s a difference between having a full life and actually being fully present in the life God has given you. That realization changed the way I wanted to live, and the way I wanted to serve women.
Today, much of my work centers around helping women become deeply rooted in Christ so they can live, lead, create, and serve from that place.
I’m also passionate about the woman who knows God has given her something to say. After more than a decade of writing and creating online, I’ve learned that you don’t need a perfectly curated life, endless free time, or a massive platform to faithfully steward your voice. Through Called to Speak and The Margin Method, I help women uncover their message, create within the margins of their lives, and use their voices for the Kingdom without compromising their convictions.
But underneath every project, podcast episode, Bible study, post, or program is the same heartbeat: I want women to stop believing they have to wait until they have it all together to become who God is calling them to be.
You can become rooted while you’re still figuring things out. You can build in the margins. And you can faithfully take the next step without knowing exactly where the whole road leads.
Around here, we’re not chasing a shinier version of ourselves. We’re becoming women who are rooted enough to live, lead, and speak from who God created us to be. And I’d love to have you along for it.

Megan has been serving in ministry for 14 years. With a 3-month-old in her arms and a few good friends by her side, she started a moms ministry — and watched God grow it into far more than a moms group: a women’s ministry for moms.
Today, Megan writes Bible commentary and helps women understand and apply biblical truth in their own lives — making Scripture something you don’t just read, but live.
